Today, the Missionaries of Jesus, a congregation which counts the Bishop of Jalandhar Franco Mulakkal and the nun who accused him of rape as their members, illegally released a picture of the rape victim.Allegations of rape against one of the congregation’s most revered Bishops has sent waves of shock across the country, however, the diocese’s attempt to cast aspersions on the character of a rape survivor can only be termed as stooping to new lows.
