Having a voice is important. But your voice having credibility is far more important. Voice shorn of credibility is no voice. Arbiters of Credibility are in the business of distributing just that.
If you want an examples of racism, look at the way they describe rice in India! 'Basmati' vs. "non-basmati"! Why, because white people only know of Basmati! So why bother with other varieties that feed hundreds of millions more than Basmati in this world - especially in India?! Stupid. Morons in India should educate the world about ALL the wonderful varieties of rice grown in India and publish the figures by each variety separately! To make an analogy, how about we publish National data using 'Bramhin' vs non-bramhin' benchmarks? The sky WILL fall!
All excellently written and superbly informative articles today, as it is everyday! Military might will grant credibility to anyone. China is credible today because it is wealthy and strong. India should learn from that. 'Satyam eva Jayate', true, but conditions and restrictions apply!
As for the Thanksgiving nonsense, when I visited Plymouth rock, I was aware of that true story of Squanto's village. The self-deluding 'pilgrims' were "stunned" to discover a village chock-full of corn and food that enabled them to survive the winter and 'thanked the lord'! These bastards had historic knowledge of how the plague wiped out many cities in Europe. To think that they would not suspect something like that defies credibility (unfortunately I have to use that word again!).

I agree. Will be interesting to go into the rice varieties and regional association in India.

Military might sometimes can be brought down by political psyops if done well. Monopoly over the high ground is the key.
