I hope the Dharmic and Abrahamic religions will get along with each other.

One says all paths are valid (Dharma), another says only follow my god else you have to die (Abrahamic beliefs) - one is inclusive and other exclusive. If I say only my god is the only savior and any other believer will rot in hell, you tell me where do you start the discussion? :) Finally, Dharma is not belief - it is the universal truth that can be experienced. THe other is a belief. That is why it is anti-Yoga.

Personal initiative is a great thing and opens one up for so many things, but that does not alter the theological basis which has shaped the centuries-old dogmas. Dharma, like the Greek "pagans", never attacked or belittled any belief. In fact, they held all as valid. however, for destruction by the religious fanatics to end (3 continents have been wiped off their natives already and populations of two were enslaved) to end, belief systems need to go. Only seeking, questioning and personal search is the way forward, not theology or dogma.

Article is basically stating that "Yoga is the fundamental science. Yoga is India’s gift to the world & Hindu Yogis like Patanjali deserves no credit". This is like saying "Gravity is England's gift to the world & newton has nothing to do with it".

Since Hinduism has bad reputation in West, Yoga Gurus are afraid that acknowledging Hindu roots of Yoga will create difficulty in marketing yoga. This noble dishonestly is also part of western Indology trick: Everything good is credited to India & everything bad is due to Hindus.

Don't go around ascribing motives when your basic IQ doesn't help you. Read what is written. Contemplate and then speak.

Instead of ad-hominem attack, Look at the logical fallacy & cherry-picking of the article.

Cherry-picking: Articles does not address Sadhguru quotes like "Gita is hearsay", "Maa Yashoda became Krishna's lover & Gopi", "The only way to be with Krishna is lover"(not mother & child love which sadhguru has rejected in previous quote).

If Gita is hearsay then it cannot be used to defend Sadhguru's yoga position. "Yoga is India's gift & Hindu-sages deserve no credit" = "Exclusive-Monotheism is middle-east's gift & prophets deserve no credit".

We must support movements like Free-Temples (not a person). We must welcome all supporting leaders including Sadhguru but we should not do BLIND hero worship. Instead, We must respectfully ask Isha Foundation to update "Yoga Myth" series and give due credit to Hindu Sages like Patanjali. If that makes Yoga less acceptable among woke then it is OK. After doing "delinked yoga" sold by new age gurus, A serene Marxist or Woke will be better equipped to attack Hinduism.

This whole "GIta is a hearsay" crap started from a talk he gave in Houston and I was there in the audience and know EXACTLY what he said. And, he NEVER said that. Just like you are making crap up, so did the "activists" who started the campaign. I addressed it at that time as well. He said exactly what the fact is - that Gita we have is from what Sanjay heard. what was given to Arjun was FAR MORE than mere words. Which, if you have ever had any initiation from any Guru you would know this too.

And, that is the major problem with most anti-Sadhguru folks. They have lost all sense of Vivek. The rest of what you say (give credit to Patanjali) is just as nonsensical. Do you even freaking know what he says? Have you ever been to Isha Ashram? The path to Dhyanalingam starts with Patanjali and one bows to him before you even proceed!

What you are doing is so god-damn perverse and without sense that to even respond to this crap is a travesty!

So, There is a contradiction in Isha's public position via "yoga myth" series v/s private ceremonies at Isha. That contradiction should be resolved by updating "yoga myth" series and giving due credit to patanjali. Believers should not be blind followers b'cos they are in best position to demand accuracy. I have politely & respectfully engaged with you in all my posts. In sharp contrast, you are very abusive. You should introspect & understand root cause of your abusive rage. Is it blind/worldly attachment to Isha or lack of emotional IQ?

I am not anti-Sadhguru or anti-deepak-chopra. I am only against anti-hindu dishonesty & baseless statements E.g. Mother-child relationship with Krishna is not possible & Mother Yasoda was sexually attracted to Krishna. Does Sadhguru provide any evidence supporting his claim? What about millions of vaishnava grandma's across India who treat krishna as a child in their worship?

Abusive? You come to a discussion with fake data points and abuse against someone who is doing far more than anyone has done for Indian ecology, Dharma and well-being in at least last 200 years and you want me to take you seriously? Unless you have something substantive to share please don't waste everyone's time. If you have to run your agenda, please do it on twitter or other SM, there are a lot of places for that venting and ranting. Here, unless you have something serious and substantive to share, you really are not that welcome.

Your abusiveness is rooted in Ahaṃkara अहंकार & status consciousness. My agenda is equal rights for hindus. What is your agenda? How are you different from gandhians & modians who blindly justify every action of their beloved mahatma?

Article uses chapter 9 of Bhagwad Gita but it forgot another Sadhguru quote "Gita is hearsay".
