Parallel Torch Relay in Delhi

The Olympic rings for Beijing represent Torture, Murder, Execution, Pain and Agony for the Tibetans under the Chinese rule.

A parallel relay will be run by the Tibetans on the streets of Delhi just 2 km away from the Olympic one.  Arundhati Roy and George Fernandes – the most unlikely of pairs (one, a Defense Minister during Nuclear Tests and other the harshest critic of the tests) are going to participate in the relay.

Over 5000 Tibetans (didn’t know Delhi had so many!) will be running in this parallel relay to protest against the Beijing Olympics.
