Pakistani connection to the Times Square Failed Bomb Attack
In the recent case of NY failed bomb attack, a Pakistani Muslim – Shahzad Faizal – was caught. He was trying to leave the country on Monday night from JFK airport when the Customs and Border Protection agents arrested him. As per the reports, he was flying to Dubai. He had recently been back from Pakistan. Shahzad is the person who drove the vehicle into Manhattan.
The attempt and plan was outlandish and depended on every thing working clockwork, which it obviously didn’t. As a bomb expert said, the plan was fueled more by Desire than on Ability.
To make matters worse, he left numerous tell tale signs behind for law agencies to catch him, said Kevin B. Barry, an official with the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators.
“He was trying to cover his tracks, but he left more clues than a guy walking into a bank to rob it without a mask. This guy left everything here but his wallet,” Barry said.
Although the authorities are “not sure” what his motives were, but as a matter of coincidence, he had parked his vehicle outside the Viacom office, which owns Comedy central. The network recently aired an episode of the animated show “South Park” that the group Revolution Muslim had complained insulted the Prophet Muhammad by depicting him in a bear costume.
Maybe there was a motive after all?
