Pak does an about turn: will send a Representative of ISI, not the Chief (#mumbai)

Pakistan PM had agreed to send the ISI Chief to India to help in the investigations of the Mumbai attack.. but it obviously was not meant to be.

First, Dr. Singh talked to Pak PM Gilani and asked him to send the ISI Chief. Lt. Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha to India which Gilani agreed and asked the staff to work out the modalities.

Then the opposition in Pak started lashing out at the Government….

Now, Pakistan has done an about turn.. and instead wants to send a “representative” of ISI instead of the Chief.

“A representative of the ISI will visit India, instead of its Director General Lt Gen Shuja Pasha, to help in investigating the Mumbai terrorism incident,” a spokesman for the Prime Minister’s House said.
