'Our Political Ties Are Smooth But Bilateral Trade and Investment Is Below Potential'

In Part II of the interview, Thailand’s Ambassadoir to India, Chutintorn Gongsadki tells deputy editor Parul Chandra that his country has robust cultural links with India. Political ties too are cordial, he says. However, much more needs to be done on the trade and investment front between the two countries, says the envoy. The ambassador also indicates that a trilateral naval exercise between Thailand, India and Singapore may happen in the future.
