The head of India’s minority commission has backed the plea of a petitioner who is fighting to win benefits on behalf of marginalised Hindus in 8 states where they are in a minority.
They are in a minority because the majority community in these states, who are non-hindus want to not share the benefits that come with an official minority tag.
Does secularism in this country mean opposing Hindus?
