Yesterday we saw in the interview with Smriti Irani, when TimesNow’s Navika Kumar tries to brush away the expression of Hindu identity, Ms Irani clarifies. She asserts that the Indian constitution gives her the right to express herself, her religion, her ways openly. So who the heck is Navika Kumar to tell her not to?
For many years now, Hindus - remember how Leftists with Soviet (and Chinese) take over of Indian polity were ruling the elites? - have been made to be ashamed of their culture.

As an administrator, the head of a state - a politicians - is expected to care for every citizen and their right to religion. But, it was only faux-secularism that forced the Hindu politicians to “act Muslim” to appease a certain section.
Yogi Adityanath is another politician who is very clear about this. He will ensure that people of all the faiths live freely and celebrate their festivals well, but he will not go around celebrating festivals that do not align with his own value system or faith. And, for that, he has full rights as a citizen.
