There is a crime here that goes beyond denunciation. There is a sorrow here that weeping cannot symbolize. There is a failure here that topples all our success. The fertile earth, the straight tree rows, the sturdy trunks, and the ripe fruit. And children dying of pellagra must die because a profit cannot be taken from an orange. And coroners must fill in the certificate- died of malnutrition- because the food must rot, must be forced to rot. - John Steinbeck, The Grapes of Wrath

“oh, the times, oh, the morals”
A lot has been written about the migrants crisis in India during the COVID lockdown. Most of it has been politically biased. The commentators have deliberately omitted the role of the states in this whole issue. They have blamed the Center without ever discussing the disparity in the trains that went to UP, Bihar and to West Bengal or Maharashtra.
These states have used the misery of their citizens to score political brownie points and yet have the gall to come out and cry foul with a straight face!
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been an effective communication strategy from the Modi government to counter its critics.
Alas, in this interview, Smriti Irani gives it back to Navika Kumar of TimesNow, and in that she hits back at the critics. If you have to listen to one thing today, then make it this video.

While the unscrupulous politicians seek to cash in on the misery of the migrants, COVID-19 is growing on the back of this deliberate inefficiency.
The Covid cases are now growing by 5000/day and Maharashtra seems to be leading the way.

Based on evidence and available news sources, we had shared earlier that 9-11 was orchestrated more so by Pakistan, than by Osama Bin Laden.
Pakistan - not Osama - was the Mastermind of 9/11 Attacks on the US - Drishtikone
CNN confirmed that Lt Gen Mahmud Ahmed, the Head of Pakistan’s Intelligence agency (ISI) in 2001 (at the time of 9-11), had used Omar Sayed, the slayer of Daniel Pearl, to wire $100,000 to Mohammad Atta.
Almost all the terror attacks in the last 15 years have had some link to Pakistan. Check this article out for detailed list of terror attacks and the threads running all the way to Pakistan.

… now a 9-11 repeat by Pakistan?
Pak backing plan for another 9/11-type attack: Ex-Afghan spy chief
New Delhi/Islamabad: Afghanistan’s former spy chief has warned that the Pakistan-backed Haqqani network (HQN) is helping banned Islamist terror group al-Qaeda to plan another 9/11-style terror attack against the West.
If the former director of Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security (NDS), Rahmatullah Nabil has to be believed, there is another 9-11 type attack in planning.
Remember, that even last time in 2001, it was Ahmed Shah Masoud who had warned CIA in a conference in Europe that if he is killed, then US can be sure that there will be something big happening on its soil! Ahmed Shah’s was killed in a suicide attack on September 9!
