Evangelicals: Colonization by American Church by Breaking India!
Evangelicals have decisively bent the American polity towards a regressive path of anti-reason, anti-science, anti-harmony. But they are not satisfied just by their control in the US. Their sights are across the world – to become the new Colonial power in the coming decades and centuries. We will discuss the extent of their tentacles, impact, and the sepoys they use in India. One of the central characters within India is a man called John Dayal.

In many TV programs, while discussing the politics and religious situation in India, you find the same cast of characters always on one side of the aisle. Is that just a strange coincidence of similar conscience, similar world view or is it politics of enhancing “collective space” for Breaking India forces?
During Sonia Gandhi’s UPA rule, a draconian Communal Violence Bill was drafted by the National Advisory Council. On the surface, it seemed to be a simple bill against the religious and caste violence, but when one went into detail one found the mischief. Let us first look at the what was the core thrust of the bill:
According to a key definition on the people who are presumably the focus of targeted violence, “group” means a religious or linguistic minority, in any state in the Union of India, or Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST)….”. If you take away that fact that religious minorities and the SC/STs between them account for over 40% of the total population, the Bill cleverly posits that the other 60% (which may include upper castes Hindus, other backward castes and some miscellaneous groups) are the only people capable of targeted violence. Are we saying 40% can never target 60%, given that these numbers are distributed all over the country?
It BY LAW made it
illegal to charge minorities with religious violence, whereas ONLY Hindus (Upper caste) would be capable and chargeable with communal and caste violence
. Who were the people in the Core Group who created this draconian and utterly communal law?
Dr. A.C. Michael (Member, Delhi Minority Commission), Maulana Abdul Wahab Khilji, Mr. Abusualeh Sharif (Member, NAC), Swami Agnivesh (Social Activist), Aruna Roy (Member, NAC), Maulana Asghar Mehdi Salfi (Jamaat-e-Ahlehadees), Justice BA Khan, Dr. Fakhruddin, Farah Naqvi (Member NAC), Feroz Ghazi (Advocate), Gagan Sethi (Member, NAC), Harsh Mandar (Member NAC), Dr. John Dayal (Member, NIC), Kamal Faruqui (Member, NAC), Maulana Mahmood Madani (General Secretary, Jamaat-e-Ulema-e-Hind), Mahesh Bhatt (Social Activist), Dr. Manzoor Alam (Member NAC), Sister Marie Scaria (Member, NAC), Mohammad Ahmad (Jamaat-e-Islami Hind), Maulana Mohd. Wali Rahmani (Muslim Personal Law Board), Mushtaq Ahmad (Advocate), Niaz Faruqui (Member, NAC), PI Jose (Member, NAC), Dr. QR Ilyas (Muslim Personal Law Board), Shabnam Hashmi (Member, NAC), Shakil Syed (Advocate and Member, NAC), Dr. Tasleem Rahmani (Social Activist), Teesta Seetalwad (Member, NAC), Vrinda Grover (Advocate and social activist), Wajahat Habibullah (Chairman, National Minorities Commission), Dr. Zafarul Islam (Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawrat), Aziz Haider (Journalist and General Secretary, Social Workers Association), Abdul Khaliq (General Secretary, Lok Jan Shakti Party) and AR Khan (Retired IAS).
Do you see the regulars on TV shows who always happen to be on the same side of the political and religious divide?
Lets discuss the details of just ONE regular on TV, specifically Arnab’s shows –
Evangelical-in-US-Secular-in-India
John Dayal. We will explore his biography, affiliations, work and how he and his cohorts and masters do to harm and indeed, break India!
Can the Real Evangelical Sepoy – John Dayal – Stand Please?
John Dayal: is a Christian fundamentalist who feigns as a Secularist and has no qualms in testifying or bringing down India within and outside in the world. Favored by the UPA Government specifically and included into the National Integration Council – nominated by PM Manmohan Singh and confirmed by Home Minister P. Chidambaram.
India’s Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has re-nominated Dr John Dayal, Secretary General, All India Christian Council, an advocacy voice in India for the rights of the Dalit people, to be a member of the reconstituted National Integration Council. The nomination was conveyed in a letter by Home Minister P Chidambaram on 4th December 2009. The NIC had been created by India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The Prime Minister is the chairman of the NIC.
In reality, he has very little “integration role” in India.
He is the Secretary-General of the All India Christian Council and a past president of the All India Catholic Union. You see, his All India Christian Council is involved in evangelical activities in India to alter the demography and the polity. As per the Operation Mobilization Ministries, many Christian organizations within India were part of its “family”. The page of which we have the snapshot below from Archive.org, has since been taken off the web.
It is instructive that Joseph D’souza, an associate of John Dayal, is the current President of the Dalit Freedom Network (DFN) and President of the All India Christian Council (AICC). He – and John Dayal – have been involved in murky anti-Indian activities involving foreign money and evangelism. This facebook post on the group titled “Save OM in India” discusses in detail, the politics and the crimes of these players.
On December 8, 2001, Prof Ilaiah told me that he wanted to take six-months Sabbatical to read, reflect and write this book. Two days later, during a Breakfast meeting, I shared this with OM Director Joseph D’Souza and Richard Howell, then the General Secretary of the Evangelical Fellowship of India (EFI). I pleaded with Joseph not to repeat the mistake he had made a month earlier when he tried to “bribe” another high-profile critic of Hinduism, Ram Raj, to become a Christian. Ram Raj was wise. He took the bait but chose to become a Buddhist — Udit Raj. Later, the BJP made him a Member of Parliament, presumably to prevent him from further damaging Hinduism.
Joseph D’Souza ignored my plea. His associates (in Hyderabad/Secunderabad) told me that the same day Joseph sent them to woo Kancha Ilaiah. Later some have testified that Joseph D’Souza continued using money-power to try and convert Kancha Ilaiah. According to OM’s former Chief Financial Officer, one American Foundation, that gives money only for evangelism, gave Joseph $10,000 specifically for Kancha Ilaiah.
Kancha Ilaiah’s book is a powerful expose of the damage Hinduism has done to India. It helps us understand why our leaders such as Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Ambedkar wanted India to be delivered from the British Raj as well as from Hinduism. Nevertheless, the Hindus are legitimately upset that Operation Mobilisation uses foreign money, meant for evangelism (a) to attack Hinduism and (b) to try and convert lower caste Hindus.
Godly Indians who devoted their lives to serve God with Operation Mobilisation, eventually became sick of corruption within it and its affiliates such as Dalit Freedom Network (DFN), Good Shepherd Churches, Good Shepherd Schools, and All India Christian Council (AICC). AICC was a fraud from Day One. It was a self-appointed body, falsely projecting itself as the voice of Indian Christians.
State High Court and the Supreme Court of India have found prima facie evidence of corruption and ordered the police to investigate the allegations against Joseph D’Souza and his son, Josh.
The criticism that financing Prof. Kancha Ilaiah is an evidence of OM’s habit of money laundering, came after the Supreme Court ruling.
Its obvious why OM India was closed, while its associate organizations not just flourish but indeed continue its work through foreign money. And it is not just foreign money. These characters come with influence in Western media as well. Check this decidedly biased article in Guardian which uses the quotes and narrative of the likes of John Dayal to create a case against India and Modi.
The series of Christmas incidents has turned the spotlight on another minority. More quietly, Indian Christians are also feeling the walls close in, says John Dayal, the secretary general of the All-India Christian Council, following a surge in attacks last year. “Anything that impacts the Muslims in a different way impacts the Christians,” he says.
In 2014, Indians elected a Hindu nationalist government in a landslide. Its leader, Narendra Modi, is a lifelong adherent of “Hindutva”, the conviction that India’s culture and institutions ought to reflect an inherent Hindu nature. Religious minorities – regarded as Hindus led astray by foreign influence – are tolerated, provided they acknowledge Hindu hegemony.
Interesting isn’t it? The cast of characters who have been instrumental in financial crimes and corruption as per Indian courts are freely demonizing India and Modi using the “power of Christianity”! WHat does Operation Mobilization Ministries do? As per their own site, OM has been instrumental in Dalit conversions in India.
OM’s work in India began in 1963 when the first long, overland truck arrived in the country. OM’s international workers came alongside Indian national Christians in partnership to present the Good News about Jesus in a loving way to those who did not yet know the living God. Over the years, as the work in India developed, the national believers gained valuable experience and developed strong ministry skills. Gradually the international workers handed over the work to the nationals. It was this significant event that was the strategic turning point for OM in India. The humble work that began with only a few dedicated workers had grown to an indigenously-run movement of thousands of Indian believers.
In 2012, OM India became GS/OMI, a separate, autonomous church-based movement led by Indian nationals, who now partners with OM. GS/OMI’s work includes church planting, discipleship and evangelism, as well as education, healthcare, economic development, justice work and training, especially amongst the Dalit peoples.
There are of course internal corruption charges on the D’Souza family.
Dalit Freedom Network and Evangelism: Bigotry on Casteism
The Dalit Freedom Network (DFN) may seem like an organization created for upliftment and fighting the caste atrocities. It is anything but. It is actually an evangelical organization, which is based in Colorado and works against the Indian Government. John Dayal and Joseph D’Souza are the top guys who regularly testify against India and Modi.
Dalit Freedom Network is an evangelical Christian[1] [2] organization whose claimed official mission is to “empower the Dalits in their quest for social freedom and human dignity by networking human, financial, and informational resources.” [3]Founded by Dr. Joseph D’souza, who heads the All India Christian Council, and Nanci Ricks, DFN is located in Colorado. The Dalit Freedom Network is a partner of the All India Christian Council,[4] a nationwide alliance of more than 2000 Christian denominations, mission agencies, institutions, federations in India. As per Dr. Joseph D’Souza’s biography[5]on The 700 Club‘s website : “The Dalit Freedom Network grew out of the AICC’s (All India Christian Council’s) need to facilitate work in the United States“.[6]
What is that work that needs to be done in the US?
Indian Christians Inviting Americans to Colonize by Remote
In April 2014, just before the Indian Elections, John Dayal – feigning as a representative of Government of India’s National Integration Council where he was nominated by Indian PM Manmohan Singh, but really representative the Evangelicals – testified against India. The Commission – ran a farce with people who were rabidly against the then Indian candidate – Narendra Modi. Joseph Pitts and John Dayal had both played instrumental role in denying Modi, the then Gujarat Chief Minister a visa to the US.
The witnesses testifying before the Commission included Katrina Lantos Swett, Vice-Chair, U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), John Sifton, Asia Advocacy Director, Human Rights Watch, Robin Phillips, Executive Director, The Advocates for Human Rights and John Dayal, Secretary General, All India Christian Council.
Joseph Pitts, Executive Committee Member of the Commission, who said that he had seen “blood splatted walls” in India and met with “countless victims” there but that instead of “justice” for victims, there were signs of increasing “impunity,” being witnessed.
He added, “Our government should not turn a blind eye to any religiously motivated harassment or violence intended, because it being perpetrated during an election”
Dayal not just urged the US Congress to arm-twist India in terms of economic engagement, but also wanted the US congress to impact the Indian elections.
I will take this opportunity therefore to urge the United States Government and the U.S. Congress and indeed all people of the world to engage in the dialogue with the Government of India on issues of human rights and freedom of faith. These rights are guaranteed under the Indian constitution but are violated with impunity all too often. India is a huge market and investment destination and this has so far successfully managed and encouraged the government to ignore or rebuff the scant concerns shown by the international community.
I am not going to focus on the issues because my three co-panelists have focused on all of them. I am going to focus on what are the challenges India will face when elections portend to present a result which is prophesied in newspapers and television columns: what happens if Mr. Modi comes to power. I think we now in India face serious challenges to the secular and pluralistic traditions of a country and religious minorities such as Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, and Adivasis are generally fearful of what the future portends.
This hearing was strongly criticized by US Congresswoman, Tulsi Gabbard, saying that is was an interference and an attempt to influence the elections of India by the US Congress!
“I do not believe the timing of this hearing is a coincidence. The national elections in India begin on Monday and continue until May 12. I am concerned that the goal of this hearing is to influence the outcome of India’s national elections, which is not an appropriate role for the US Congress. Such interference with India’s elections would undermine our shared goals,” Gabbard, a Democrat from US President Obama’s home state of Hawaii, told the panel.
“We need to be especially careful not to directly or indirectly contribute to sectarian strife in India or other countries. I am concerned that this hearing is an attempt to foment fear and loathing purely for political purposes. This is wrong and it will contribute to further sectarian division in India and will undermine national interests of the US,” Gabbard added, in withering criticism of the hearing. “Any attempt by the United States to have an effect on the Indian elections will backfire,” Gabbard’s senior colleague Brad Sherman cautioned while questioning panelists.
Think of it, Indian Christians representatives who have been working with Sonia Gandhi’s UPA Government to not only impact the Communal Violence laws to the detriment of Hindus by institutionalizing the bigotry legally, but also worked with the Evangelical elements who have created a fraud like Human Rights commissions to ding India and influence its polity.
By virtue of how Sonia Gandhi’s UPA government helped John Dayal get government-certified credibility by inducting him into National Integration Council (NIC), he – the Christian Evangelical bigot – was also running the various so-called fact-finding missions and tribunals against alleged incidents of violence by Hindus. This is not conflict of interest, it is a sell out!!
Dayal has been appointed to many fact finding committees and tribunals.[2] In December 2007 he was one of a five-member Fact Finding Team that went Phulbani area of Kandhamal district in Orissa to investigate recent violence against Christians.
And, it was ALL
UPA Government certified
!
How American Evangelicals Buy-out so-called Indian Seculars!
We have to understand that the
Evangelicals from US
are not just coopting Indian Christians to push the planting of Churches and unleashing a very right-wing American agenda into Indian polity. Whatever regime is pliable and willing to let the Evangelicals push their conversion-and-control agenda in India are favored by these characters in US Congress and religious groups. Those – like the current PM Modi – who want India to have a civilizational ethos reflect in Indian society – are demonized via different political plants. Let us give you an interesting example.
There is one “Secular” character – Admiral Ramdas, the ex-Navy Chief. Now, we have often seen Ramdas talk against Modi, but do we know how he has been made obsequious to these Evangelical forces which want to colonize India by remote control.
In August 2003, Admiral Ramdas and Teesta Setalvad were given Staines International Award for Religious Harmony. The Leftist site for SABRANG (Hashmi’s organization) harmlessly mentions that Ramdas and Setalvad got the Staines award. What they miss out is who gives that award!
Dr. Diana Barnes , South Asia Desk Officer at the U. S. Department of State, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights & Labor and the Office of International Religious Freedom presents the “Staines International Award For Religious Harmony” instituted by The International Council of Evangelical Churches ( ICEC) to Admiral L. Ramdas former Chief of The Naval Staff India. And the Mayor of Wilmington issues a special proclamation. In a very well attended international ceremony with representatives from various nations in Wilmington, the corporate capitol of the United States, Dr. Barnes applauded India for her centuries old tradition of communal harmony and urged the nation to live by it at the present time. She hoped that the incidents like Rev. Staines family murder that blot the ethos and the image of India of Sri Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi is the thing of past. In his acceptance speech the Admiral shared his pain and anguish that he suffered at the time of Gujarat genocide and how it reminded him of 1947 riots at the time of partition. Teesta Setalvad who was joint recipient of the award in her acceptance speech urged the NRI community to take more active role in ensuring communal harmony in India.
See the impudence with which the American government machinery – including the State Department works while it is in bed with the Evangelicals! The South Asia Desk Officer of US State Department gives the award to two Indians – an award that was given by the Evangelical Churches council! What is the mission of the ICEC? Here you go.
In this “new wineskin,” the International Communion of Evangelical Churches will merge as several networks of Christian organizations and ministries from around to world to become a network of networks. The International Communion of Evangelical Churches will provide fresh insight, clear vision and a straightforward message for dealing with the issues of righteousness and justice while taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.
The aim is to bring the global Christian denominations together to infiltrate other countries – both religiously and politically.
Therefore, this award was not harmless at all.
The results of engagement with and rewards from the International Council of Evangelical Churches ( ICEC) are for all to see
! This man, Ramdas – an ex-Chief of Navy – then goes out and bats for these forces against Narendra Modi ever since. His spectacular bigotry is nicely camouflaged!
A former Navy chief Admiral L. Ramdas has written an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee in the wake of attacks on minorities and Dalits. The octogenarian Magsaysay awardee writes, he was forced to hang his head in shame over the attacks on minorities and Dalits under the rule of the current government. He regrets that such serious attacks were called by the government ‘sad’ and ‘unfortunate’ but not condemned in unambiguous terms, reported The Telegraph. “Today, as a veteran in my eighties, I am forced to hang my head in shame as I witness a
series of incidents and assaults on our fellow citizens, especially minorities and Dalits
,” his letter says.
Check the language and check the targets – minorities and Dalits. Isn’t that the language and narrative of the Evangelicals? Isn’t it rather intriguing that what Ramdas says – choice of words and narrative – mirrors so closely to what John Dayal says in the US Congress?
And, everyone is led to believe that so many “unrelated” people are speaking the same language – “so it cannot be a coincidence”. Something would surely be wrong, we are told by the bigoted Secular forces which are beholden to the Evangelicals!
Game is Deep and Indian Freedom is at Stake
When the first missionaries came to India with the British, they were instrumental in writing so-called treatises on Sociology, History and Anthropology. Therefore, all these subjects were colored and contaminated by the religious purpose of these Evangelicals ever since. The narratives and indeed the words used by them have continued to be the central precepts of Hinduphobic evangelicals ever since in India. In 1850, a resolution was made by the Madras Missionary Conference, where they stated the following:
Caste is one of the greatest obstacles to the progress of Gospel in India. (“Castes of Mind: Colonialism and the Making of Modern India” by Nicholas B. Dirk)
One of the first historical accounts written in 1817 was by James Mill – a journalist employed by East India Company. The famous Thomas Macaulay declared in the House of Commons that it was the greatest work to appear in English since Gibbon’s Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. Mill and another missionary Charles Grant had very different entry points into the discussion and evaluation of the Indian society, yet both were agrees on one thing:
Both held, however, that the religion of the Hindus was an abomination, and believed Brahmans and Brahmanism to be responsible for social depravity. (“Castes of Mind: Colonialism and the Making of Modern India” by Nicholas B. Dirk)
The reason for missionary hatred for Brahmans was simple – they were the hardest to convert! Thus started the narratives against the Brahmins, shaming them and attempts to convert the lower castes.
As one can see in the article above, the Evangelicals and missionaries are no longer fighting the battle of conversion in India themselves completely (although they are there as well) – but have Indian sepoys who have infiltrated the highest echelons of Indian polity and government to dismantle the very basics of Indian fabric! India’s electoral system, its polity, its thinking and even the value systems are being usurped and coopted the very same radical and bigoted group that installed Donald Trump on the US – the American Evangelicals.
To an untrained and un-researched eye, the actions by various players in India carried out against Hindus and indeed Narendra Modi may seem simply coincidence or by random people who want to have a liberal India. But when you start looking at the lives and motivations of different characters – even those who have held the highest of positions in Indian security forces – one finds that they have sold their conscience and are merely parroting the brief thrusted upon them by their American Evangelical masters!
It is not about religion anymore. It is not about freedom to choose one’s God. It is about how some people in another country with money and colonial zeal want to again control India. And in that this 1893 article in New York Times is very instructive.
Ruling over India, the NYT surmised in 1893 was a piece of cake. That is why Babar with just 12,000 men conquered Indian forces of 100,000 strong and why they say that more remarkable than the magnitude of the exploits by the British was the ease with which India was conquered by them.
India’s nemesis has been the lack of conscience by some who have brought in the enemy through the back-door always. This time, when the colonial rules are by mindsets, one of the sepoys of the foreign power, are the Indian radical and Evangelicals Christians!
