British Motor Car Company 1952 or 1934?

British Motor Car Company was created out of the merger of Austin Motor Company and the Nuffield Organisation (parent of the Morris car company, MG, Riley and Wolseley) in 1952.  Which is very interesting.  What you see in the picture here a board on the building in Connaught Place, Delhi.  Interestingly, it dates the company to 1934!

It is interesting what one can find out on the streets of Delhi where centuries of history is lying around without anyone really noticing it.
