Advertising in India: Brilliant and now goes local

Yesterday, I came across these ads from the Indian media.  Some of them are hillarious!  I truly feel advertising is FAR more vibrant in India as opposed to the US.  The brilliance of the Indian ad folks is just breath-taking.  There is life in it.

What really amazed me with this ad is that its NOT for a product or a company.  It is for a beauty parlour in Delhi!  This shows that local advertising has arrived in India where even your local neighborhood “Parchoon ki dukan” or “beauty Parlour” will be spending in lacs on just advertising!
